I'm going more for a crescent or gradual curve and not a triangle. The pattern is directional and so I think I will have to start from the bottom and work up.Mary in A2https://www.blogger.com/profile/14790005110778785550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247934203279655635.post-40181749058993301352011-12-03T19:00:01.891-05:002011-12-03T19:00:01.891-05:00Hi,

So I ordered 'shetland lace' from the United Kingdom. Should be here this week and I will be making a wedding shawl for my niece for her August wedding. Today I found your blog and really appreciate learning more. thank youjudihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14328526714346368366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3247934203279655635.post-29241594120877462292011-12-01T19:06:40.271-05:002011-12-01T19:06:40.271-05:00I do like that pattern. I find it easier to have the large number of stitches and then decrease up to the neck edge. <br />There are a few very nice and very simple simple lace edgings in Jane Sowerby's book Victorian Lace Today. Best of luck with this.Winifredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12415302188575538163noreply@blogger.com
